Although Mick studied fine art at Staffordshire Polytechnic it was the traditions of his home town of Stoke-on-Trent which inspired his love for sculpture. The famous towns forming the region have created some of the worlds finest works and respect for the craft of the sculptor and designer is well deserved.

There are few modellers who can produce accurate and detailed studies covering such diverse subjects as dogs, cats, African wildlife and the female form. Mick is one of the few who can achieve this goal working from reference books, his own drawings, photographs and observation. Like so many artists and sculptors, his studio walls are covered in this reference.

Mick is unusual in another way in that he is one of the few sculptors preferring to model in clay. Mostly wax is used for its versatility but Mick loves the freedom clay offers and is quite content to work around its limitations.

Art has always been a part of my life, in fact I’ve been drawing, painting and sculpting for as long as I can remember. I’ve been sculpting professionally for more than 20 years, starting my career in the pewter, giftware and retail sectors before specialising in bronze. I consider myself very lucky to be doing what I do, I get a great sense of relaxation and happiness when I'm sculpting, nothing else exists in that moment. I’m thankful that my work has found homes all over the world, It's very gratifying to know my collectors get the same pleasure from owning my work as I have from creating it.

Alongside art, my other passion is the natural world. This inspires my work in ways that nothing else can. My love for nature has led me to travel throughout Africa, Asia and North America, all of which have helped to shape my work in both realistic and abstract ways.

David Geenty was born in England in 1945 but spent his youth in South Africa on his father's cattle ranch which was situated in the wilderness of what is now Zimbabwe.  He attended Art College in Johannesburg where he was introduced to the work of Moses Kotler a world renowned South African sculptor.  This much influenced his early work.

However in subsequent years he decided to study mechanical engineering eventually graduating from Glasgow in 1970.  He then worked as a naval architect until the ship building industry started to diminish.  His real first love of sculpture then re-surfaced and he concentrated his formidable talents on equine study.  His work is now amongst collectors who appreciate his quality and unique style.

Grant studied Sculpture & Ceramic Design at North Staffordshire University, and began his career in the Design & Modelling studio at Royal Doulton’s Burslem Factory. Later becoming freelance opened exciting and varied opportunities to develop his unique impressionistic style. Grant seeks to create sculptures which, whilst accurate have a personality and character of their own.

Neil Welch is a young British sculptor, born in the heart of the potteries Staffordshire, where he still works from his studio. Neil left school at the age of 16 and gained a two year apprenticeship at the New Victoria theatre as a stage set and props designer,where he discovered a love of sculpture which has never left him.

Keith was born in Stoke on Trent, the home of the Potteries and trained as a ceramic artist with Royal Doulton at the Burslem Factory. As a self-taught Sculptor working in clay he has produced a variety of subjects such as dogs, cats, wildlife and human form. Keith’s work is admired and collected world wide.

Growing up in the rice fields of Ang thong, the central fertile region of Thailand, Sanit spent his childhood in the countryside absorbing the sights and sounds of nature. His interest has always been in art and culture, and, after graduating from high school, he decided to pursue his dream by enrolling in Lad Krabang College of Fine Arts. He then obtained a BA in Fine Arts from the most prestige art college in Thailand, Silapakorn University. Early in his career, he worked as an artist’s assistant in the field of painting and etching before discovering his talent for sculpting. For more than 16 years after this graduation, Sanit has been sculpting a variety of works ranging from wildlife, portraiture and contemporary art, from miniatures to monumental projects as high as 25 ft.
